Best AI Tools to Use in 2026
AI is now becoming more powerful by the minute. In the modern age, it’s important to know how to properly use AI not to cheat but to help you study or learn new things. Here are some of my suggestions for the best AI tools to use in 2026.
Gemini: Gemini is the new leading AI chatbot released by Google in 2023 to replace their old chatbot, Bard. Gemini has multiple useful tools including Google workplace extensions, image generations, high tech navigation systems, and many more. It is extremely useful in helping you to learn math and history and it is also the leading AI bot in coding. However, it sometimes finds it hard to process extremely large amounts of information.
NotebookLM: NotebookLM is an AI study tool created by Google along with Gemini in 2023 and it is my personal favorite AI tool. It is different from many other AI platforms because it doesn’t take information from the web. It uses the information you give it. You can upload certain files of the information you want it use and it will only use the files for research. Using it, you can generate many different tools to help you learn including articles, videos, slides, quizzes, and many more. It is powered by Google’s Gemini and is extremely useful. The main problem with NotebookLM is that you have to manually save the chatbot’s answer to your questions.
Claude: Claude is one of the top AI chatbots in 2026 released by Anthroptic in 2023. It has many useful tools but I think the most useful part about it is its ability to handle large bulks of information. In addition, it has extremely high reasoning and coding abilities.
Proper AI use: AI is a helpful and very smart tool but it can also be used for harm. Here are some tips on how to use AI safely and effectively.
- Never use AI to do your homework or other work.
- Never tell AI your personal information
- Never completely trust AI
- Never cite AI’s work as your own
- Do not use it to make ethical judgements
- Never use AI in place of counseling
- Using AI to hurt someone is never okay whether it’s creating deepfakes or facilitating cyber attacks.
- Using AI to do illegal activities
